MR. MICHAEL ZIEPER


Damen und Herren,

On the 30th of September 1938 a brilliant young man of impeccable
breeding heisst Orson Welles hat gebroadcast einen radio play of H.G.
Wells 'The War Of The Worlds'. The East Seaboard of the US is being
plunged into terror when they hear for these buffoons think it is for
real. They are running und screaming und hurling themselves off cliffs
like the lemmings und stifling the children in their cots und shooting
themselves in the heads in their weakness and this is very amusing I
think but also instructive.

Hitchcock hat gesagt that actors must be treated like cattle, but
Hitchcock is being ein fat degenerate Cockney barrow-boy who is longing
to violate the Nordic blondes und is wrong und flabby und English. It is
the audience who must be treated like cattle. Those who can learn to
think for themselves may question what they are being shown und so evade
the herding. The rest deserve all they get.

Und so I am proud to introduce to you my great friend Mr. Michael
Zieper, another master manipulator of impeccable racial heritage who
assures me he has only been circumcised for reasons of hygiene and
strength. He is also a virile man of great stamina without asthma or a
weak bladder unlike most young film-makers I am meeting. He hat only one
ball due to a magnificent gesture he is making in cutting off the other
one for his film 'My Left Nut' but believe me he only needs the one and
besides I know of another man who has achieved great things with only
one ball.

In these days the opportunities for the herding of the sheep are much
greater for the sheep recognize no shepherd any longer. Paradoxically,
because the sheep will trust no-one they are much more prone to being
bamboozled. He who believes in nothing will believe in anything. They
trust nothing but what they see with their own eyes, but of course in
these times you cannot trust what you see with your own eyes when it is
on a TV or film screen. Und also we have the phenomenon of the internet,
which should be a great medium for strength through joy and used for
finding the Helmut Newton pictures and the Nubian webcams but instead is
viewed as a great oracle by herds of credulous untermenschen who think
the truth is out there and believe all they read and see without knowing
who wrote or filmed it or why.

Und so Mike Z hat made his film 'Military Takeover of NYC' which
purports to be ein training video for the military to instigate race
riots and ein putsch on New Year's Eve 2000 und he is putting it on a
website and the credulous simpletons are believing it und screaming und
stifling their children und hurling themselves off cliffs and it is
Welles all over again and then the government are banning it and there
is ein lawsuit und there is a great deal of tsuris, as my Jewish
grandmother used to say. Whoops, delete that bit, Kwame.

But the stink that was raised and the talk of hoaxes may be to miss the
point. The point may be that those who watched 'Military Takeover' or
'My Left Nut' or more especially some of his other films experienced
emotions they would not have done had they known them to be fake. He
manipulates reality to communicate truth, just as Welles, Hitchcock, and
all other great film-makers have done.

Is Mike Z a proponent of the Big Lie or an examiner of the masses
susceptibility to it, is he a witty black humorist, or is he in fact
subverting the techniques of cinema verite and documentary as a means of
communicating naked raw emotion to his audience while they are caught
without the defences of disbelief which they instinctively raise to an
obvious fiction? I favour the latter but if I knew for certain I would
not tell you.

One thing is for sure, he is a film-maker of great talent with a big
future ahead of him, and I am not just saying that because he has a
great physique and has been very kind to an old woman.
